Coach's Questions
What is the difference between the Official and Youth sizes?
The Official size measures 6 by 24 inches for standard regulation mounds. The Youth size measures 4 by 18 inches for younger divisions.
How do you install a step-down pitching rubber without stakes?
You bury the rubber into the mound so the top sits flush with the mound surface and the front extension steps down into the dirt. The weight of the rubber and the packed mound clay hold it firmly in place.
Does the wood core warp or rot underground?
The solid wood core is completely encased in the molded rubber cover. This seals out moisture from the mound clay and prevents rotting or warping over time.
