Close plays at first base get messy in recreational leagues. You have runners sprinting through the bag and fielders stretching for the throw. This double base gives everyone their own lane. The fielder takes the white side in fair territory. The runner aims for the orange side in foul territory. It immediately cuts down on collisions and spiked ankles.

The heavy-duty vinyl holds up to daily cleat traffic during practice and game day. Inside, a soft rebounded foam filler absorbs the impact when players come in hot. It stakes down tight with the included hardware so it will not shift around during a game.

Coach's Questions

How does this base secure to the dirt?
It uses a strap and spike system. You drive the two included spikes into the ground and use the straps and buckles to pull the base tight.
Is this base meant for permanent installation?
No. It is a temporary, strap-down base meant for recreational play and multi-use fields. You can easily pull it up after practice or game day.
Can I leave this base out in the rain?
The vinyl cover is weather resistant, but you should bring it inside after games. Continual exposure to mud and standing water will break down the straps over time.
