No. These are designed specifically for end-spike rubbers that feature steel mounting tabs on the sides.
How long are the spikes?
Each spike is 5.5 inches long. This gives them enough depth to anchor the rubber firmly into packed mound clay.
Will these fit both youth and official size pitching rubbers?
Yes. The steel tabs on both youth and official MacGregor end-spike rubbers use the same hole diameter.
Do I need to dig out the mound to install these?
No. You just place the rubber on the mound, drop the spikes through the side tabs, and drive them into the dirt with a hammer.
Can these spikes be removed if we need to rebuild the mound?
Yes. You can pry them up using the claw end of a hammer or a pry bar when it is time to rework the mound clay.
