You need jump ropes that survive daily gym use without turning into a tangled mess. Woven ropes fray and tie themselves in knots. These solid licorice ropes solve that problem. The weight of the plastic provides solid feedback. This helps beginners find their rhythm and timing.

The injection-molded handles spin freely to keep the rope moving smoothly. This prevents the torque that snaps cheaper ropes at the handle joint. Color-coded handles make it easy to grab the right size out of the equipment bin without uncoiling every rope. They work just as well for a kindergarten warm-up as they do for high school speed drills.

Coach's Questions

How do I know which rope length to grab for different age groups?
The handles are color-coded by length for quick sorting. Six-foot ropes have black handles, seven-foot are orange, eight-foot are red, nine-foot are green, and ten-foot are black.
Will these ropes work well on outdoor concrete surfaces?
Solid plastic licorice ropes handle rough surfaces better than woven cloth ropes. Frequent use on abrasive concrete will eventually wear down the center of the rope faster than indoor gym floors.
Can the rope length be adjusted if it is too long?
You can adjust the length by pushing the rope up through the handle and tying a knot. You can also cut off the excess plastic for a permanent adjustment.
